Questions we often get

Does it hurt?

The doctor uses local anaesthetic where needed. Most people feel a small sting and not much else.

Will it leave a scar?

That depends on the lesion and your skin. The doctor tells you what to expect before anything is done.

Can I have several removed at once?

Yes. Book up to 3 or up to 6 and the time is set aside. More than 6 is agreed at the clinic.

What about moles?

We do not remove moles or other pigmented lesions. They need a dermatologist, and we help you get there.

Do I need a referral?

No. You book directly and pay yourself. The treatment is not covered by public healthcare.

Who does the procedure?

Doctors from Lægerne på Strøget. Every procedure is done by a doctor, never a beautician.
